Steamed rice paper rolls ("Phở cuốn") is a creative version of famous "Phở" (Vietnamese Beef Rice Noodle with Soup). It was first founded in Ngu Xa Town (Ba Dinh District, Hanoi). After over 10 years, "phở cuốn" has the honor to be considered as a specialty of Hanoi thanks for its fabulous flavor.

Similarly to the technique to make spring rolls, a tender steamed rice paper sheet is placed with stir-fried beef and Vietnamese herbs then wraped into neat rolls. Pho cuon is usually served with mixed sweet and sour fish sauce.

In current years, local gourmets are excited with the new upgrade of "Phở cuốn" which is called "Phở cuốn ngũ sắc" (Steamed rice paper rolls in five color). Besides the original white color of rice paper, there are yellow ones from pumpkin, red from baby jackfruit, purple from beetroot and green from spinach. The fillings are also more diverse with different ingredients from pork, chicken and fish.
