    Overview

    Ho Chi Minh Museum ("Bảo tàng Hồ Chí Minh") is one of the largest museums throughout Vietnam and in range of the Ho Chi Minh Museums System consisting of 14 museums, vestigial and memorial sites.

    The Museum was started construction on 31 August 1985 and officially opened on 19 May 1990, right on the occasion of the 100th birthday of Ho Chi Minh President. Its structure was inspired of a big white lotus, symbol of the President’s homeland – Lotus Village (Nghe An Province).

    Currently, Ho Chi Minh Museum has more than 120,000 documents, objects and films about President Ho Chi Minh’s life and revolutionary work.

    As a part of the monuments complex together with other famous sites such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace Relic and One Pillar Pagoda, the Museum welcome thousands visit each year.
