    Started construction from July 2009 and officially inaugurated in March 2013, Dragon Bridge (“Cầu Rồng”) is 666m long, 37.5m wide and has six lanes for traffic with sidewalks for pedestrians. It is emulated as the shape of the dragon in Ly dynasty with steel spans of 568 meters long and 9,000 tons weigh.

    Crossing Han River (“Sông Hàn”), at the junctions of the six main roads, Dragon Bridge is help shortening the travel distance from Da Nang International Airport to the center of Da Nang City and from the center to My Khe Beach and Marble Mountains. The bridge serves as both a tourist attraction and a boon for economic growth. Besides the impressive architecture design, every Saturday and Sunday night or National Holidays, it comes to alive with an amazing and sophisticated show of fire and water breathing.

    Recently, Dragon Bridge was rated as one of the top 30 gorgeous bridges over the world by a famous tourism website, Viralnova.

    Fire and Water Spouting Dragon Show:

    09:00 PM every Saturday, Sunday and National Holidays. The road is closed at 08:50 PM to ready for the show.

    (Length of show: about 3 minutes, including: 2 turn x 9 times of fire spitting and 3 turn x 1 time of water spouting).

    Tips:

    - You should visit Dragon Bridge at night for more impressive photos as it is illuminated with thousands of LED lights.

    - Arrive the site early to have better view of the show and take some pictures. 

    - You might get wet if standing to close to the dragon’s head.
